With the latest ktm switches giving so many issues (failing or bikes starting by themselves), we set about testing alternatives. Most other options did the job but either weren't tough enough for extreme riding or failed after a few washes as they weren't waterproof.

So we decided to design our own from scratch. Using metal buttons IP67 waterproof and carbon composite housing, the new SMX extreme switches are made for extreme.

The carbon composite housings are strong enough to withstand impacts, dust, water, mud and whatever else you find yourself buried in. But not to hard that there going to take your kneecap off if a crash like metal versions.

KHG 24 : (This kit simply replaces the original start stop switch. 1 plug easy swap. If you do want to remove the light/horn cluster from left side then we also offer plug in dongles for this.)

KHG 17: (This kit will replace both start switch on right AND kill button on left cluster. We also offer the KHG 17B kit here which will replace your left cluster automatically activating headlight, you will loose your horn button with this kit. Aux switches with horn and headlight switch will be available late march. The KHG 17 can be modified to take the aux switch at later date.
