The aluminium bars (left/right)
The aluminium bars (left/right) are made from 6061 T6 aluminium alloy, known for its medium to high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and weldability, though with slightly reduced strength at the weld zone, additionally, 6061 aluminium is often used in high-performance applications where quality and performance are critical. This alloy is more expensive than 5052 aluminium due to its premium quality and superior durability.
To enhance resistance, the finished product’s aluminium bar is 2mm thicker than standard – for that extra resistance & durability and as a final touch to the manufacturing process we’ve added a sandblasting step – for an extra layer of EXED authenticity.
