- NOTES: When measuring for exhaust spring length, please use points as shown on image reference.
- Exhaust springs should be measured when they are off the vehicle. Wear eye protection when removing.
- The length measurement should be taken from inside hook to opposite end inside of hook.
- For correct fit, an exhaust spring should not be extended more than 20% of its free length.
- Swivel hook design prevents bending which will increase life.
- For correct fitting of a spring the length should not extend more than 20% of the original length of the spring.
